Narrative
SALISBURY, MD – A three-vehicle crash in Salisbury killed a young girl and injured a driver late Monday morning.
The accident happened just after 11 a.m. at the intersection of the Ocean Gateway and the Salisbury Bypass.
Police say a westbound cement truck collided with a 2018 Toyota Highlander, which then hit a pickup truck.
Medics transported a 10-year-old girl from the SUV to the hospital, where she later died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the SUV went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
