LAUREL, MD – A dump truck driver died Tuesday after a solo crash along the interstate in northeast Prince George’s County.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on the northbound side of I-95 near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Laurel.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the accident or the manner of the crash impact. They say that the driver, 37-year-old Oscar Ramos, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Officials urged drivers to avoid this area of I-95 while crews attended to the victim and worked to clear the scene.
