FOREST HILL, MD – A 77-year-old woman’s life was claimed after she drove off the road and crashed her Chevy into a guardrail on Route 1 near Rock Spring Road after 1 p.m. Sunday. The woman, Janet Howell Sauer, was pronounced dead at the scene. Maryland State Police are investigating additional details regarding this collision and have not released more information.
