GLEN BURNIE, MD – A 68-year-old woman, a Glen Burnie resident, lost her life after she crashed into a ditch, leading her 2011 Nissan Frontier to roll over and hit two trees Friday.
This single-vehicle collision happened before 7:15 p.m. on Route 10 North adjacent to Mountain Road. The female driver lost control in the median, drifted off, and came back onto the road before traveling across several northbound lanes. She then went onto the right shoulder, which resulted in the final crash. The woman, who was identified as Cynthia Herman, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
