PORT TOBACCO, MD – A 63-year-old man lost his life after his Toyota Tundra collided with a deer on Maryland Route 6 Tuesday.
The events of the collision unfolded when a deer crashed into a Nissan Altima. The deer came into the air and then struck the Toyota Tundra driven by 63-year-old Gregory Gauvin from Welcome, Maryland. The deer went into the passenger side, hitting Gauvin.
Gauvin then struck many trees and died from his injuries.
It is unclear if the Nissan driver — 50-year-old Latoya Brassell from Waldorf, Maryland — and the passenger — a 13-year-old teenager also from Waldorf — was unharmed.
