HARWOOD, MD – A driver of a Ford Escape crossed the southbound lanes of Solomons Island Road and went to the northbound ones, hitting a Ford Fiesta head-on, claiming one life.
This wreck happened before 9 p.m. The driver of the Fiesta — 68-year-old Stephen Horodyski, 68, of Edgewater — succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
The Ford Escape driver and passenger from the Fiesta — a 66-year-old woman — were sent to area hospitals.
