NEAR LARGO, MD – A driver of a Chevrolet Trax succumbed to fatal injuries after he struck the back of a white box truck in the Lake Arbor district Friday. Maryland State Police arrived at the scene — Central Avenue & Campus Way South — after 1:15 p.m. They said the Chevrolet driver was heading east when he hit the truck stopped at the junction. The unidentified motorist was sent to a hospital, where he was later declared dead. The box truck driver was unharmed.
