Narrative
A motorcyclist had major injuries after crashing into a turning deliver van on Mt. Zion Marlboro Rd. on March 14th. The 2020 Ford Transit 250 delivery van was turning left onto Frank Moreland Place around 1p.m. when it was struck by a motorcycle. That motorcyclist, Terrence Leroy Jones, 58, swerved and tried to avoid the van but his 2007 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide motorcycle still struck it. Jones had to be hospitalized at University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He had critical injuries, but no update has been provided regarding his condition. Jaiqaun Levond Emmanuel Joy, 23 was the driver of the delivery van. He did not have any serious injuries but was still hospitalized at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The Traffic Safety Section remains in charge of this investigation.
