Narrative
A 34 year-old pedestrian was killed by a white truck when the vehicle ran a red light on Central Ave around 7:45p.m. on Feb. 2nd. The pedestrian was utilizing a crosswalk when the crash happened, and this victim died at the scene. The identity of the victim will not be released until the family is informed. It is believed that the at-fault driver first drove away when the accident happened but then returned a bit later. Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack reported to the accident and authorities had the road closed off until about 11:45p.m. The investigation is being run by the Maryland State Police Crash Team.
