Narrative
WALDORF, MD – A 42-year-old woman died Monday from injuries sustained in a head-on collision in north-central Charles County.
The incident happened around 11:03 p.m. near the intersection of Berry Road and Sharpersville Road, which is in the city of Waldorf.
Police say that the victim’s eastbound Chevy Malibu entered the westbound side of the roadway and collided head-on with a westbound Ford F-150.
The driver of the Chevy died at the scene. Authorities identified her as Melody Williams Robinson.
Medics transported the driver of the Ford to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say that impairment may have been a factor in the crash.
