Narrative
A tanker crashed on I-795 on the morning of March 24th, igniting a huge fire across multiple lanes of the interstate. The fiery mess required the assistance of a tanker strike team. They were eventually able to quell the flames surrounding the overturned tanker by around 9 in the morning. The Maryland Department of the Environment also had to assist in the cleanup as there was a lot of diesel fuel to deal with. There were significant traffic delays as the inner and outer loops faced the closure of all lanes while the first responders worked on the crash scene. The driver was transported for medical attention, although there were no critical injuries.
