OWINGS, MD – Two children required hospitalization Sunday following at ATV crash in north-central Calvert County.
The accident happened on Dunkirk Drive on the far-west side of Owings near MD-4 and Wards Meadow.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the wreck. They say that one of the riders was thrown from the ATV when it crashed into a tree.
Medics airlifted both children to trauma centers with unspecified injuries.
