FORT WASHINGTON, MD – Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person and injured four others on Friday in western Prince George’s County.
The accident happened early in the morning near the intersection of Old Fort Road and Indian Head Highway in the city of Fort Washington.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause of the collision or the nature of the crash impact.
One driver died at the hospital from unspecified injuries. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.
Medics transported the four occupants of the other vehicle to the hospital with unknown injuries. They are all said to be in stable condition.
Officials closed Indian Head Highway in the area of the accident while emergency teams worked at the scene.
