Narrative
ARBUTUS, MD – A police officer went to the hospital Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision in southwestern Baltimore County.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southwestern Boulevard and the Baltimore Beltway in Arbutus.
The investigation indicates that a Maryland State Trooper was attempting to turn from Southwestern Boulevard onto the Beltway when a vehicle hit the cruiser, causing it to flip.
Medics transported the police officer to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
